Food Parc’s outdoor plaza was more than just a public beer garden this Sunday. The NYCWFF took over the plaza with over a dozen of New York City’s most popular food trucks, for the 2nd annual Carts in the Parc celebration. Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern was a lively host to say the least; welcoming guests one minute and dancing to the beat of live bluegrass band the next.

Kati Rolls from the Biryani Cart, Mermaid Sundaes from The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck and falafel from Taim, were just a few highlights from the afternoon event.  Inside Jeffrey Chodorow’s Food Parc, 3B’s, Fornetti, and Red Farm Stand were serving an array of bite-sized favorites including the 3B Burger, Fornetti’s Eggplant Parmesan and Red Farm Stand Pork Dumplings. Despite the rain, Andrew Zimmern along with event founder Lee Schrager manned the stage and awarded the Biryani Cart as the winner of the 2011 Carts in the Parc!  Until next year NYCWFF…
