The Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival on October 13th-16th, 2011, will bring together 200 world-class wineries and 100 celebrity chefs from around the globe with entertainment, sports, and music celebrities for a four-day culinary event spanning the scope of the greater Los Angeles area. Famed chefs participating in the citywide celebration are among the country’s finest, including Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Wolfgang Puck, Masaharu Morimoto, Tyler Florence, Michael Chiarello, Michael Mina, David Myers, Rory Herrmann, Walter Manzke, Sherry Yard, Josiah Citrin and Ludo Lefebvre. LA Food & Wine in partnership with Wolfgang Puck will be expanding upon the amazing history of charitable giving to the St. Vincent’s Meals on Wheels program here in Los Angeles. St. Vincent’s Meals on Wheels provides nearly 100,000 meals each month to homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents across Los Angeles. Not only is this festival for a good cause, but it will be delicious and then some!
